Former British Rail employee Kathy Newel has completed multiple challenges for us over the past few years raising nearly £4,000. A keen cyclist, Kathy has undertaken various overseas challenges for Railway Children!
Nathan organised a tour like no other, where attendees were transported from the past to the present as they explored the remains of a railway that was meant to become part of the world's iconic London Underground network, but never did!
A huge thank you to team TBM at the annual Crewe Krazy Race event who raised £732 for Railway Children! The team have been committed supporters of ours for almost 15 years, and went above and beyond with their fundraising efforts.
First Rail Consultancy recently held a bake sale in their office to raise funds for Railway Children. They have also applied for match funding to maximise the amount raised for vulnerable children around the world.

A huge thank you to Jax who, after hearing about our work from his dad, Peter, one of our Safeguarding Champions, has been teaching his classmates all about the work we do in the UK. We’re now his class 'charity of the year'!
Mark has played a pivotal role in the success of Ride the Route India and won the 'Award for Charity' at the RailStaff Awards 2023. His dedication has also been instrumental in raising £150,000 for Railway Children.
Robert has been conquering marathons for nine years, raising money for Railway Children every step of the way. His dedication has made a huge difference to vulnerable children across the world.
A big thank you to Nantwich Young Voices led by Victoria Palethorpe, who volunteered their time to join us at Crewe Station for a wonderful afternoon of carol-singing to raise money for Railway Children.
Hugh is a long-time supporter of Railway Children and, in April last year, completed a 16-day climb up Island Peak in Nepal, marking 30 years working in the rail industry and raising over £5,000.
Barratt London hosted a charity golf day for Railway Children, raising £38,000. The team enjoyed a lovely afternoon of golfing, food and fundraising – thank you to everyone who got involved in the event.

Thank you to the staff, parents and children of Holly Montessori Nursery who hosted a Christmas Bazaar where they made and sold crafts, played festive games and sang carols to raise money for children at risk.
