Are you up for an epic cycling adventure through beautiful landscapes? Can you tackle a 450km bike ride through the Mekong Delta to Cambodia and help us fight for children who are alone and at risk on the streets?
Join us for Ride Vietnam and you’ll embrace the freedom of life in the saddle as you pass ancient temples, pagodas and colourful villages along endless miles of beautiful backwater roads, before exploring the incredible architecture of the Royal Temples of Angkor Wat.
Explore stunning scenery of Southeast Asia from the saddle
This is a challenge for those who love the tropical vibes of Southeast Asia, cycling off the beaten track and exploring ancient history. Follow the road from Saigon through waterways and plantations, venturing into the heart of Vietnam’s Mekong Delta, stopping to explore ancient temples and bustling markets full of glorious street food. As you make your way to Siem Reap, admire the beautiful and varied rural landscapes from your saddle.
Covering 450km across seven days, this challenge is moderate, designed to ensure participants have every opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery of Southeast Asia. Expert guides will be with you throughout, ensuring your comfort and safety.
As well as having the adventure of a lifetime, you’ll be changing lives with every passing mile. Each participant will raise vital funds for Railway Children through sponsorship to help us reach and protect vulnerable children around the world.
The challenge will take place from November 5, 2020, with between six and eight hours of cycling over seven days on either dirt or tarmac roads. Temperatures can reach the 30s and you will be travelling across waterways and plantations on unpaved and dusty roads.
